Save the Ethimals aims to substantially reduce these tragedies through the collective appreciation of the beauty of these animals. We are directly affiliated with well-known charitable organisations – our supported charities – that are doing unbelievable work, on the ground, to prevent these animals becoming extinct in the future.
50% of all the money generated from Save the Ethimals goes directly to our supported charaties.
See how we do it.
From an idea to reality. Save the Ethimals brings together the collective technology/NFT community together to help endangered species around the world. We have made connections with amazing charities and have presented a transparent, official charitable donation plan.
210 animals across 3010 beautiful artworks. Each Ethimal represents an animal that needs saving. All have their own main mechanisms of risk, risk of extinction, habitat, location of origin and more, raising awareness of the criticality of their existence. 50% of purchases/transaction fees go to our supported charities that are doing amazing on-the-ground work.
Each Extinct Ethimal is equal to 1 Ethereum. After the mint & reveal, anyone who has an Extinct Ethimal will be able to verify their wallet, and claim 1 Ethereum. Each Extinct Ethimal can only claim 1 Ethereum 1 time. A total of 10 Ethereum will be claimed in total.
We’re dropping limited edition ethimal NFTs, providing bespoke merchandise and providing perks directly to our Save The Ethimal community & NFT holders. We will bridge technology and environmental communities to help solve real world problems - bringing new blockchain-based innovations to the forefront of national/international conversations around conservation.
We are more than an NFT project. Save The Ethimals is the largest project spearheading philanthropic efforts on the blockchain. GiveBlock will become the go-to hub of transparent philanthropy with Crypto. Each minter of Save The Ethimals will receive 10 shares per NFT and will be given first access to exclusive drops.

We enable holders to stake (SAVE) our Ethimals NFT's and 'SAVE' them to gain our Ethimals Coins from our digital enclosure that we will be releasing mid-2022. Savers will earn passive income, along side the 1% per transaction benefits.

"In 1966, Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers starred in the classic wildlife film Born Free. The film told the true story of conservationists Joy and George Adamson who rescued a lioness cub called Elsa and successfully returned her to the wild. Virginia and Bill went on to make a number of wildlife films together, including in 1969 An Elephant Called Slowly with an elephant calf called Pole Pole. When filming was over, Pole Pole was gifted to London Zoo by the Kenyan government. Virginia and Bill launched a campaign to give Pole Pole a better life but in 1983, aged 16, Pole Pole died. Determined that her death would not be in vain, in 1984, Virginia, Bill and their eldest son Will launched Zoo Check – the charity that has evolved into Born Free."

Save the Ethimals is an NFT project that is here to bridge the gap between technology and environmental communities to help solve real world problems - bringing new blockchain-based innovations to the forefront of national/international conversations around conservation.
As each Ethimal is an NFT (Non-fungible token), it means that you have unique ownership over each piece of Ethimal art peices. Not only that, but you will have made a major difference to the lives of species such as your own Ethimal. You can keep your Ethimal or trade it. With each trade, we keep a small fee (2.5% beyond the OpenSea transaction fee) of which 50% is given to our supported charities on an ongoing basis. You also get 1% per sell transaction on OpenSea back as a reward for being involved in an amazing philanthropic movement. Check out the Roadmap channel for more information on benefits.
On our donation record page we outline exactly what happens. Click here to learn more details about how we keep a record of all donations.
The Ethimals were selected from WWF, A-Z-Animals, and Sky Enimals. After selecting each Ethimal from Extinct, to Least Concern, we then selected five attributes to add to the rarity of the NFT's within our collection.
The five attributes that we decided on were the following:
- Extinction risk
- Main mechanism of risk
- Sighting rarity
- Type of animal
- Location of origin
These have been used to give a broad picture of each Ethimal, whilst keeping the attention on their rarity & risk of extinction at the forefront.
The other 50% is kept by the project owners to go towards the talented artists who made the project happen, the technology team who built the blockchain infrastructure and the project founders. We reinvest much of this money back into the project, to fund more pieces of artwork that will do more and more good in the future.
The official date for Pre-Sale is on the 14th of January at 2pm EST. Official Public Sale is on the 16th of January at 2pm EST.
You will be able to mint an Ethimal from here, our website using a Metamask wallet. As long as you have the right amount of Ethereum in your wallet + enough to cover Ethereum gas fees, you will be able to claim your Ethimal.
Minting is the process of becoming the first owner of an NFT from a collection, by connecting your wallet to our website and minting when we launch, or by minting directly from the contract.
Yes! You can mint up to 2 during Pre-Sale (You have 1 chance) and up to 20 during Public Sale!
Each Ethimal will cost 0.06 ETH + Gas to mint during Pre-Sale & 0.08 ETH + Gas to mint during Public Sale.
All that you will need is a MetaMask wallet (or any other ETH wallet as a browser extension), with enough ETH inside of it to cover the 0.079 ETH price + gas and have it connected to your browser. You can also use Mobile if you're using the MetaMask app. Make sure you connect your wallet before the launch, then when it's time, hit mint!
The cost of the Ethimals purely depends on the secondary market, we have no say in what people decide to sell or buy at, but we are hoping that as people within the community understand the mission that we are on, people will be more inclined to list and buy at higher prices as they will be making a larger impact on animals in need.
We’re a small group of young technology enthusiasts who recognise the transformative impact of NFTs (and blockchain more broadly) on our online communities and society. We wanted to utilise the major attention in this space and direct it towards a cause that is being greatly affected by current global climate and human affairs.
With each of our below supported charities, we have agreed to a commercial participation statement, where we will donate 50% of everything generated from Save the Ethimals to these charities. This is all done via Work for Good and all of our supported charities are notified of our donations. You can see our public profile here: https://workforgood.co.uk/businesses/save-the-ethimals/
